Krithika Balasubramanian

Physiotherapist — Neurological Rehabilitation and Parkinson’s

MSc Specialist Physiotherapy Practice, Sheffield Hallam University · MCSP · HCPC-registered

English, Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil

Hi, I’m Krithika. I became a physiotherapist because I have been the patient.
As a teenager I had surgery that left me unable to do the things everyone else took for granted — walking, running, moving without thinking about it. Intensive physiotherapy got me back on my feet, and going through the full rehabilitation process taught me two things: how hard the middle part is, and how much difference the right support at the right time makes. I have never forgotten either.
